The conducting body of the JEE Advanced exam 2023 is yet to release the dates of the exam. The exam dates will be announced on the official website. 

The candidates can attempt the languages in English and Hindi.

Paper 1 duration is 3 hours, duration of Paper 2 duration is 3 hours.The total number of hours for both the papers is 6 hours.

  • The response sheet is a copy of the candidates response in the JEE Advanced exam which can be used to calculate the approximate scores by comparing with the official final answer key. 

  • Visit the official website and click on the response sheet link
  • Candidate will be redirected to online portal
  • Use the login credentials and the response sheet will be displayed
  • Save the response sheet for future reference. 

Steps to download the answer key

In the announcement section - the link to access the final answer key for JEE Advanced 2023 will be available. Click on the link to proceed to further steps

 

Step 3The JEE Advanced 2023 exam final answer key will be displayed in a new window 
Step 4The answer key will be in a PDF Format so that the students can download it for future reference.

  • Visit the candidate portal and login using the correct details.
  • Click on the option -Challenge answer key 
  • Select the questions to be challenged and also have the correct answers to upload in the portal
  • Upon successful completion of uploading the correct answer, pay the processing fee of Rs. 500 per challenging question 
  • Once the payment has been completed click submit to complete the challenge process. 

Yes the student will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2023 provided they satisfy all the other eligibility criterias.

Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998. A   relaxation period of 5 years is given to those belonging to SC,ST category; these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1993.

Candidates may attempt JEE Advanced no more than twice in two consecutive years.

 

Criteria 4Appearance in class XII or equivalent examination

Class XII examinations must have been taken in 2022 or 2023, and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must have been included in the candidates board examinations.

 

Criteria 5Earlier admissions at IIT 

Candidates must not have been previously admitted to any degree programme at an IIT, and those whose previous IIT admissions were revoked are not permitted to appear for the JEE Advanced 2023 examination.

Based on the JEE Advanced 2022 exam pattern, a total of 54 questions need to be answered in Paper 1 and 54 in Paper 2.

  • Step 1- Visit the official website www.jeeadv.ac.in
  • Step 2- Click examination and choose Paper 1 Practise from the drop down menu.
  • Step 3- Candidate will be redirected to a new window with a login option window. 
  • Step 4- Just click login and no credentials are required, this will redirect to the instructions page. Read the instructions carefully before starting the mock test. 
  • Step 5- After the instructions page, candidates will be given a choice to select the language in which they prefer to attempt the exam. Choose the desired option and check the terms and conditions box and proceed to the mock test.
  • Step 6- Mock test begins, candidates can save, review each question before submitting the test.

  • After downloading the final answer key for JEE Advanced 2023 exam, candidates can challenge the answer key by following these steps
  • Visit the official website -https://jeeadv.nic.in
  • Login in the official portal using the required credentials
  • Click the link for challenging the answer key and mark the questions that needs to be challenged and also upload the necessary document with the correct answer.
  • After completion of uploading the supporting documents, candidates need to pay the processing fee of Rs. 500 for each question they are challenging. 
  • Complete the payment online and click the submit button to complete the process of challenging the Answer key for the JEE Advanced 2023 exam. 

The processing fee for challenging the answer key is INR 500 per question and payment can be made online using Credit card, Debit card, Net banking, UPI. 

The official cutoff details for JEE Advanced 2023 will be released in the official website www.jeeadv.ac.in by the IIT incharge for 2023 exam. 

  • Qualifying cut off - This will be the minimum marks required by the candidates to be included in the rank list for progressing to 2023 JoSAA Counseling.
  • Admission cutoff- This will be released as Opening and closing ranks for each course at IITs for each category. The opening rank is the rank at which the institute begins admission, while the closing rank is the rank after which the institute does not accept the admission of the candidate.

Candidates have to wait for the official announcement of the minimum percentage aggregate marks for JEE Advanced 2023 exam.

The official dates for the JEE Advanced 2023 exam have not been declared yet.

16598 seats were allotted to 23 IITs in 2022 JoSAA Counseling.

The minimum percentage of marks in individual subjects was 4.40% and 15.28% in the aggregate marks
