National Testing Agency(NTA) will release the eligibility criteria conditions for candidates appearing for JEE Main 2023 exam on their official website. These criterias include age limit, marks obtained in their respective board exams. Let us look into the details of each of these criterias in detail.
Candidates should abide by the eligibility criterias released by the NTA before applying for the exam. If the candidate does not qualify or meet the eligibility criteria then there are high chances of the application being canceled. It is a good practice to check if the candidate fulfills all the eligibility criteria requirements before filling the application form.
Candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2022 exam had no age limit. But students should remember that institutes that they are desiring to get admission for a degree program might have age restrictions.

6. Higher Secondary Vocational exam | Conducted by any recognized board |
7. Diploma | Recognized by AICTE or State board of technical education with a duration of 3 years. |
8. General Certificate Education (GCE) | Conducted at London/Cambridge/ Sri Lanka at the Advanced (A) level. |
9. High school Certificate exam | Conducted by Cambridge university or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. |

This criteria was removed temporarily due to COVID 19 and if everything goes well then there is a chance of restoring the 75% eligibility criteria for students to appear in JEE main exam
The eligibility criteria of securing 75% in class 12 to appear in JEE Main exam was relaxed due to COVID-19, but for JEE main 2023 , NTA has not yet released the eligibility criteria conditions.
State of eligibility for this candidate will be Uttar Pradesh as NTA rules suggest that the state from which the candidate has passed class 12 will be taken into consideration.
