JEE main exam is conducted by National Testing Agency and has 2 papers JEE main paper 1 is for admissions to B.Tech programs and Paper 2A is for admissions to B.Arch degree programs and Paper 2B is for admissions to planning courses.   • JEE Main 2023 Exam pattern 
    • JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in online mode for Paper 1, Paper 2A and 2B except for the drawing section which will be in offline mode.
    • The exam pattern will be multiple choice questions and there will be negative marking for incorrect answers. Students should be aware of the negative marking and choose to answer the questions properly.

JEE Main 2023- Subject wise weightage

JEE Main exam paper 1 has 3 subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics 

Mathematics - This section is common for all 3 papers of JEE Main exam- Paper 1, Paper 2A and 2B. The syllabus is huge and this creates a challenging situation for students preparing, so they should try to focus on important topics and keep practicing to achieve a good score. Write down the formulas separately for each chapter and revise it later. 

Physics- One of the most tough parts of the JEE Main exam is Physics, students should go through the syllabus and try to prepare in a smart way and understand the concepts and logics to attend questions from this section. 

Chemistry - The chemistry section of the JEE Main syllabus is split into 3 parts - Physical chemistry, Inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry. Students should give importance to reaction mechanisms and write down the chemical equations for each chapter separately while preparing so that they can easily revise without wasting time right before the exam.
