It is strongly recommended to candidates appearing for JEE Main 2023 to practise as many question papers as possible once they are fully prepared before appearing for the JEE Main 2023 exam. Steps to download JEE Main Answer key 2023

  • Answer key is also important for the candidates as it will help them to predict how many marks they might score in the JEE Main exam and also predict their ranks accordingly. Students can use the online calculator here by college to predict their ranks and also get to know various information about all the colleges.
  • Steps to download the JEE Main Answer key 2023
    • Candidates can follow these steps to download the JEE Main answer key for 2023 examination
    • First step is to visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
    • Select the option link to answer key for JEE Main 2023.
    • Enter the JEE Main application number and candidates date of birth to proceed to next steps.
    • Click submit and the answer key will be displayed which can be downloaded and saved for future reference.
  • Candidates after downloading the answer key can compare their answers and they will be given a chance of challenging the answer key if they feel that the answer provided by the NTA is incorrect. The Provisional answer keys will be displayed for a period of 2-3 days within which the candidates will be able to challenge.
  • To challenge the provisional answer key declared by NTA candidates will have to pay a processing fee RS.200 per question to challenge the answer key. The objections raised by the candidates will be reviewed by subject experts and then a final answer key will be displayed in the official website.
  • The final results of the JEE Main exam will be based on the final answer key declared. No more changes will be entertained once the final answer key is displayed by NTA.

How to challenge JEE Main Answer key 2023?

  • Candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2023 will be able to challenge the answer key. If candidates feel there is an error in the published provisional answer key they can challenge each question by paying a processing fee of INR 200 per question. This fee is non refundable. But if NTA accepts the error and corrects it in the final answer key then the processing fee will be refunded to the candidate who had challenged the question.
  • Here are the steps on how to challenge the JEE Main 2023 Answer key
    • First the candidates should download the answer key and mark the question ID number and answer given in the provisional answer key. Also they should be ready with the correct answer.
    • Next step is to visit the official website and click on the link that says "Challenge Answer key".Candidates should login with their credentials such as Application number and Date of Birth/Password.
    • After logging in the candidate can view the answer key , now the question that the candidate is challenging should be selected and checked for a recorded answer and then the correct answer with supporting documents should be uploaded. Then add it to the claims list.
    • The next step is to pay the processing fee of INR 200 per question that they are challenging. Payments can be done using a credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.
    • Candidates should remember that this processing fee is non refundable but if NTA accepts the answer uploaded by the candidate then this fee will be refunded.

In 2021 NTA announced that the JEE Main exam will be conducted in 13 languages and those are English, Hindi, Urdu, Assamese, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.
