JEE main 2022 Syllabus

JEE Main 2023 syllabus will be released by NTA on the official website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/. The syllabus will be based on topics from NCERT Class 11 and 12th syllabus. Main subjects that will be included in the JEE main exam are Mathematics, Physics,Chemistry for Paper 1 and Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing/Planning for Paper 2 A and B of JEE Main 2023 exam.   • JEE Main Paper 1 to secure admissions into the B.E/B.Tech degree program and this exam will include questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • JEE Main paper 2A to secure admissions into architecture programs and this exam will include questions from Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing subjects.
  • JEE main paper 2B is to secure admissions into Planning courses and this exam will include questions from Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning subjects.
  • JEE main 2022 exam had a little change to the syllabus as some portions were reduced and negative marking was introduced.
  • JEE Main 2022 Physics syllabus included 21 Units.
  • The Physics question paper was divided into 2 sections where Section A had 20 multiple choice questions and 10 numerical questions. Candidates had to answer all the multiple-choice questions and only 5 numerical questions.
  • JEE Main 2022 Maths syllabus included 16 Units and it is the same syllabus for B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch and B.planning papers.
  • The Maths question paper was divided into 2 sections where Section A had 20 multiple choice questions and 10 numerical questions. Candidates had to answer all the multiple-choice questions and only 5 numerical questions.
  • JEE Main 2022 Chemistry included 3 main topics and they are
    • Physical chemistry- 10 units
    • Inorganic chemistry- 8 Units
    • Organic chemistry -  10 Units
  • The Chemistry question paper was divided into 2 sections where Section A had 20 multiple-choice questions and 10 numerical questions. Candidates had to answer all the multiple-choice questions and only 5 numerical questions.
  • JEE Main 2022 architecture paper includes 3 sections and they are
    • Mathematics- Same syllabus as mentioned above and has 2 sections with multiple choice questions and numerical questions
    • Aptitude- Syllabus includes 2 units and this section has 50 multiple-choice questions
    • Drawing - Syllabus includes - Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces, etc). landscape (riverfronts. Jungle. Gardens, trees. Plants, etc.) and rural life. This section has 2 questions and this will be held offline  as pen and paper mode.
  • JEE Main 2022 planning paper includes 3 sections and they are
    • Mathematics-Same syllabus as mentioned above and has 2 sections with multiple choice questions and numerical questions
    • Aptitude- Syllabus includes 2 units and this section has 50 multiple-choice questions
    • Planning- Syllabus includes 3 units and this section has 25 Multiple choice questions.

  • Some tips to score high marks in Aptitude section of JEE Main 2023 paper are
    • Read the question paper thoroughly and strategize the questions that the candidate is confident of answering correctly and complete those questions first
    • Dont waste much time in a single question
    • Do not panic or get tensed and lose out on the time rather utilize it for scoring marks from the questions which you are confident

Generally it is a 40:60 ratio , where 40% is for class 11 and 60% is for class 12. But it is also not a sure thing and there might be changes in the JEE main 2023 exam .
