Eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech 

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Science stream or its equivalent from any recognized board in India
• Candidates must have 50% marks or more in Class 12 with science stream
• Reserved categories such as SC/ ST are given relaxation up to 5%
• The qualifying examination must be with Physics, Maths, Chemistry and an extra subject of the students choice.
• Candidates must pass VITEEE to get into top Indian universities. Class 12th scores determine direct admission.

Eligibility criteria for admission in M.Tech 

• Candidates are required to have a bachelors degree in B.Tech/B.E. or its corresponding with a minimum aggregate of 55%
• Candidates also need to qualify for an entrance examination known as GATE.
• B.Tech/B.E. Electrical & Electronics Engineering graduates with a least 50% aggregate are eligible. GATE scores determine direct IIT entrance. VITEEE gives the chance of getting into any one of the VIT campuses.

VIT Vellore conducts the VITEEE 2022 counseling in online mode. Thus, candidates should be aware of the process that they will have to follow in order to participate in the VIT counseling for B.Tech.

STEP-BY-STEPS

Step 1: Check your VITEEE rank. Candidates must know their test rank since the authorities have announced VITEEE counseling dates in 2023 depending on their rank. VITEEE 2022 rankings and results will be released.

Step 2: Registration. VITEEE counseling in 2022 requires online registration. Candidates must complete the form and indicate their category, course, and campus.

Step 3: Verification of Documents: VITEEE applicants must provide documentation to establish their eligibility. Before visiting VIT Counseling, read the instructions.

Step 4: Allotment of Seats: After verifying their papers, applicants will be assigned VIT B.Tech. seats depending on their rankings and preferences.

Step 5: Payment of Fees: Candidates must pay campus admission fees to confirm their enrollment after accepting a seat during VITEEE 2022 counseling. The non-refundable VITEEE 2022 counseling cost is Rs. 11,800,  of which Rs. 50,000 has to be drawn in the name of Vellore Institute of Technology.   

Phase-specific VITEEE 2023 seat allocation results will be posted online. Log in with your application number and password to check your allocation results. Before the deadline, candidates must pay either part of the fee or the whole fee to confirm their allocation.
