VITEEE Eligibility

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will post on its website the eligibility requirements for students who want to take the VITEEE 2023 exam. These criteria include an age limit and marks obtained in their respective board exams. Let us look into the details of each of these criteria in detail.

VITEEE exam-Age limit

Candidates must be at least 18 years old to take the VITEEE 2023 exam. But students who want to get into a degree program at a certain college should remember that the college may have age limits. Candidates born on or after July 1, 2002, are eligible to appear for the VITEEE exam in 2023.

VITEEE exam-Qualifying terms

  • Students who have finished a formal, full-time education will be able to take the VITEEE in 2023. Indian citizens, NRIs, and people with PIO cards who want to apply for a B. Tech.
  • degree must take the VITEEE-23 entrance examination for admission to participating colleges. Candidates who do not fulfill the minimal requirements for VITEEE 2023 will not be admitted to the final VIT BTech class in 2023.
  • The candidates must get a grade of at least 60% in their high school education from a recognized board. If candidates know about the VITEEE curriculum before they go to school, they will be able to manage their preparation process well.

VITEEE Appearing to the exams

  • To apply for VITEEE, a student must get at least 55% in all of their subjects in Class 12. The candidates have to finish schooling in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. 
  • The entrance exam can decide the future of candidates. If the applicants dont meet the above requirements, they wont be able to take the qualifying exams on the date that the VIT has set.

VITEEE Exam-State of Eligibility

  • In 2023, people who want to go to college for their first year must get at least a 55% on qualifying exams in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
  • Northeast candidates from Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura, At the time of counseling, the applicant must bring a certificate to show that they live in the area or are from there.
  • If they dont, they wont be considered for admission.

VITEEE - Subject Combinations

The applicants would have to study for the 10+2 qualifying entrance test, which includes math, physics, and chemistry, as well as English and aptitude subject combinations. The VITEEE course and test cover almost everything that students learn in the 11th and 12th grades.
