Based on applicants' JEE main scores, DTU offers admission to B.Tech programs. The UCEED score is accepted for those applying to the B.Des program. The GATE score is used at DTU to determine postgraduate admission to M.Tech. courses. The university holds an entrance exam for admission to the M.Sc. program. Candidates may be required to take an entrance exam to meet the requirements of DTU for admission to the PG programs.

Eligibility criteria

• For B.Tech,12 the grade with a minimum of 60%(50 percent SC/ST/PD, 55 percent OBC/CW) in PCM.

• English should be a core or elective subject and must have a valid JEE main score. 

Selection criteria

• The DTU of selection is based on the JEE main score and the entrance exam Common Entrance Exam (CEE).

• For admission to M.Sc. courses, Common Entrance Exam(CEED) scores are required.
