With great results in academics, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Varanasi does not stand apart from the other IITs in terms of placement and summer internships offered to its students. The institute offers B.Tech (undergraduate program), M.Tech (postgraduate program), IDD (Integrated Dual Degree), and Ph.D. (Doctorate of Philosophy).

The PG placement program has attained a certain unattainable height as the 2022 placements correspond to 93.71%, and in the 2021 placements, the institute recorded a nominal and moderate percentage of about 78.84%. But on the flip side of the postgraduate placement drive, the 2020 placements have attained 100%, which is a groundbreaking record among all the IITs as it demonstrates the supreme class and excellence of the management institute that might shatter the records of all other institutions of its similar cadre and the nature of the operating business.
