The main library has subscribed to some e-resources like databases, e-journals, e-books, e-standards, etc. to keep researchers up to date with the latest developments in their research field. The library has a rich collection of books on engineering, science, and technology and a small collection in the areas of humanities and social sciences. The library also has a very good collection of bound volumes of old (since 1918) and new periodicals, codes, standards, etc.

Boys Hostel: The institute offers accommodation facilities to students from other states on campus. Separate rooms are given for boys and girls. Their rooms are air-conditioned with WIFI connections, along with a TV, a recreational area, laundry, and a security system. They are provided with regular breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner meals on a timely basis.

Girls Hostel: The IIT BHU has a hostel facility that provides good and safe hostel accommodation for female students.

IIT BHU facilities in terms of sports include a tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool, volleyball courts, and many more sports facilities are offered by the institute. The gym is provided for both boys and girls to keep their health in check and stay active while on academic probation.

UG laboratories in all the departments where the most common facilities are located have been modernized. Many departments have already established tinkering labs in many departments, and some more are going to be in place shortly.

Some of the other facilitative amenities are gym facilities, cafeterias, spacious auditoriums, medical or hospital facilities, uninterrupted Wi-Fi network connectivity, IT infrastructure, and alumni associations.

Gym Facilities: The IIT BHU has a gym facility for the students.

Cafetaria: The IIT BHU offers a cafeteria for students to have a break and enjoy their meals. They offer various meals and snacks for students with a range of food menus. Hostellers are provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner in their cafeteria.

Auditorium: The IIT BHU has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

Medical or Hospital facilities: The institute offers medical services to its students and staff to ensure their safety and cater to their emergency health issues. An ambulance for emergency cases is kept nearby, and expert paramedics are present on campus.

Wi-Fi Connection: The IIT BHU has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

IT Infrastructure: The University has a 100-kilometer-long fiber optic backbone of campus-wide LAN, connecting all academic and administrative buildings as well as hostels with a well-equipped computer center, providing high-end computing and training facilities. The University has been provided three 1 Gbps nodes of the National Knowledge Network (NKN) under NME-ICT.
