IITH houses a total of 425 UG students and, apart from that, it also bags 296 PG students, wherein the PG 3-year program corresponds to 36 on the whole.
The total number of students was constituted over 1876, of which 80.49% of them were masculine and the remaining 19.51% corresponded to feminine students.
Apart from that, around 618 of them have been admitted within the state, but 1234 engineering graduates have been admitted outside the state or union territory instead.
Moving ahead, 24 students were admitted outside the nation under the NRI quota as the economically backward graduates stood at 55 and the socially challenged graduates accounted for 867 on the whole.
