Admission to the undergraduate program is competitive and done through the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) via JEE(Main). Admission to postgraduate programs requires competitive GATE scores and an All India Entrance Exam administered by the admitting department. UG Program:
Students should have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam (65% for SC/ST candidates).
PG Program:
The candidates need to score a minimum of 60& of marks in their undergraduate program.
UG Courses: Admission to the institute's undergraduate programs is based on performance in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). The institute reserves half of the places in the undergraduate program for students from Tamil Nadu. Furthermore, a student seeking a B. Tech seat at the institute must be +2 qualified.
PG Courses:
GATE - Under this category, only those students can seek admission who have a valid gate score.
Non-GATE / Sponsored Category: A student who wants to seek admission under this category has to appear for the TAMIL NADU COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (TANCET).
