NIT Karnataka Course and Fees

The university offers 54 courses in total. NIT Surathkal courses are offered in engineering, science, management, etc. streams. The university offers courses at three levels: undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral.

The National Institute of Technology Surathkal courses are B.Tech, M.Tech,M.B.A., M.Sc.,M.C.A., and Ph.D. The varsity offers all its courses in full-time mode. The university offers Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) and Master of Technology(M.Tech.) programs in 10 and 26 specializations, respectively. The NIT Surathkal courses' duration varies as per the level of degree.

offers a Master of Science (M.Sc.) course in two specialisations—Chemistry and Physics.

NIT Surathkal Online Courses 2022

NIT Karnataka conducts a summer school every year and offers a 21-day online course. In the academic year 2022–23, NIT Karnataka has organized a summer school on the topic of “Geospatial Science and Technology”.

The summer school is free of cost and open to all faculty, scientists, researchers, technologists, and professionals. Every year, NIT Karnataka schedules its summer school between the months of May and June.

Apart from this, the institute also conducts several workshops and conferences for its students and faculty members.

The eligibility criteria for B. Tech aspirants must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board + JEE Main exam. The selection process corresponds to the entrance test through the JEE Main exam and JOSAA counselling.

The eligibility criterion for M. Tech engineering candidates must have passed the graduation + GATE examination. The selection process means that they must have a competing score on the GATE entrance examination test and will be decided during the CCMT counselling.

The eligibility criterion for Ph. D graduates must probably hold a post-graduation degree from a recognized board/university wherein the selection process includes a written test and a personal interview that is conducted by the institute authorities. It is to be noted that candidates who have cleared the UGC NET examination are exempted from the written test.
